Some of the Government restrictions have now been lifted and we are thankful to be OPEN FOR BUSINESS!
Freemans Organic Farm ask you follow the official Government information on Coronavirus and take the practical advice of social distancing, continual hand washing, anti-bacterial sanitising, and wearing face masks where necessary. This information is useful on how you and your family can best prepare to minimise the impact of coronavirus.
Our café is also open to provide takeaway only coffee and food.
Procedures we are taking at the farm to ensure a safe place to visit and shop:
✅ We have hand sanitising stations, hand wash station with disposable paper towels
✅ The farm staff will be handing all fruit, vegetables and cafe food with disposable gloves
✅ We will be using ‘once only’ compostable cups and plates. No ‘keep cups’ allowed.
✅ We will provide gloves
✅ Given the size of our area, we can not have over 50 people at any one time.
We encourage you to help us by doing the following:
✅ Please wear a mask at all times unless eating or drinking
✅ Practice social distancing of 1.5m
✅ Practice safe hygiene around the cafe and the cafe staff
✅ If possible, use ‘tap & go’ to pay so we don’t have to handle cash
✅ Bring your own bags
We will keep you fit and healthy by supplying you with high quality, nutrient dense, organic fruit and vegetables – the best medicine to build up your general health and immune system. The other natural advantage of our mountain farm, is we are 1,000 feet above sea level with clean healthy mountain air with excellent ventilation (mountain breeze!). There is plenty of sunshine and space for each of you.
🚫 PLEASE DO NOT come to the farm if you are coughing, sneezing, or experiencing any cold or flu like symptons… and we are sorry to say, no hugs allowed!
As the situation is changing rapidly, we will keep you up-to-date with our services in compliance with the Government restrictions via our facebook page. Please check in regularly, stay safe and we look forward to seeing you all this weekend!
