Veterans Healing Garden

This is a place of healing for all Veterans 🙏🏼🎖

As Farmer David is a veteran himself, he has a passion to help service men and women find healing through gardening. Freemans Farm have kindly donated 4000m² of land to create a Veterans Organic Garden.

This is a place where Veterans can come and relax, get in tune with nature, interact with other Veterans, or simply enjoy the peacefulness. Veterans can use the organic matter donated from the Currumbin RSL to make organic compost, nurture the soil and grow their own fruit and vegetables for free.

Every Wednesday from 9am-2pm veterans and volunteers gather here on the farm to work on the mission of the Veterans Organic Garden

Our mission at the Veterans Organic Garden is to provide a therapeutic and educational environment for veterans to learn about sustainable agriculture, healthy eating habits, and community building. We strive to create a space where veterans can connect with nature, each other, and their local community while also promoting physical and mental wellness. Our goal is to empower veterans to take control of their health and well-being through the cultivation of organic produce and the development of valuable life skills.

Veterans and Volunteers day is open to anyone that feels called. So if you’d like to join us, send us a message! We’d love to hear from you. Farmer David welcomes you all.
